Christian Benjamin Oxlade-Chamberlain ( bear 24 June 1998 ) is an english professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Aldershot Town .

Born in Portsmouth, Oxlade-Chamberlain progressed through Portsmouth ‘s young categories. He signed a biennial scholarship abridge on 4 July 2014. [ 3 ]

Oxlade-Chamberlain made his professional debut on 1 September 2015, coming on as a substitute for Adam McGurk in a 0–2 Football League Trophy aside get the better of against Exeter City. In January 2016, he was loaned for a month to Wimborne Town in the Southern Football League Division One South & West. [ 8 ] Poole Town, besides of the sixth grade, brought in Oxlade-Chamberlain and Pompey teammate Jez Bedford for a month in August 2017. [ 9 ] Later that season, he had two loanword spells at Oxford City in the like league, both being curtailed by wound crises at his parent club, though he did not make any further appearances for them. On 18 July 2018, Oxlade-Chamberlain completed a transfer to League Two clubhouse Notts County, signing a biennial sign, with effect from 1 August. [ 11 ] [ 12 ] He made his debut on 4 September in an EFL Trophy 2–1 personnel casualty at Grimsby Town, playing the wax 90 minutes in Harry Kewell ‘s beginning match as coach. [ 16 ] He was released by the Magpies in June 2020. [ 17 ] On 19 September 2020, he joined Gosport Borough of the Southern Football League. Oxlade-Chamberlain ‘s parental grandparents emigrated to England from Jamaica. [ 21 ] His elder brother, Alex, is besides a football player who plays for Liverpool and has represented England at external level. [ 22 ] Their founder Mark represented Portsmouth and England in the 1980s and 1990s, while their uncle Neville was besides a professional football player. [ 23 ]
