Gyeongnam FC ( Hangul : 경남 FC ) is a south korean master football clubhouse based in Gyeongsangnam-do. Its home stadium is in Changwon, the das kapital of South Gyeongsang Province. Gyeongnam FC was founded in 2006 and joined the K League as its 14th cabaret for the 2006 season.

2006 season [edit ]

Gyeongnam FC reached 12th place in 2006 K League in their first season, and achieved third base home in the Hauzen Cup .

2007 season [edit ]

Under the director Park Hang-seo, Gyeongnam FC finished fourth in 2007 K League, but were defeated by the Pohang Steelers in a punishment gunfight in the first circle of the play-offs. Playing for Gyeongnam, Cabore became that season ‘s K League top scorer with 18 goals in 26 matches. besides, he recorded continuous attack points during eight league matches. When he on the spur of the moment moved to FC Tokyo, Gyeongnam FC no long did indeed well, and coach Park Hang-seo chief executive Jeon Hyung-doo left immediately .

2008 season [edit ]

Before the begin of the 2008 season, Cho Kwang-rae was appointed as coach. The newly signed Seo Sang-min was a valuable player, and brazilian attacking midfielder Índio filled the col left by Cabore. The team failed to reach the playoff by losing to Jeonbuk Motors in the last match of 2008 K League. They reached the korean FA Cup 2008 final thanks to Kim Dong-chan ‘s continuous seduce, including a hat-trick in the semi-final, but they were defeated by the Pohang Steelers, frankincense failing to enter the AFC Champions League .

In 2010 Gyeongnam moved from the Changwon Civil Stadium to Changwon Football Center. With Kim Young-woo as the newly master, they won the K-League – the first top situation in their history. Cho left in the middle of the season, but the team continued to perform well under caretaker director Kim Gwi-hwa. Yoon Bit-garam recorded nine goals and seven assists in 29 matches to take the K-League Best eleven and K-League Rookie of the Year Award .

2013 temper [edit ]

On 12 May 2013, Gyeongnam FC achieved its hundredth victory in the K League after defeating Daegu FC. [ 1 ]

2014 temper [edit ]

Gyeongnam FC relegated to K League Challenge .

2017 season [edit ]

Gyeongnam FC won the K League Challenge style and was promoted to the K League 1.

Gyeongnam FC finished 2nd place in K League 1, and was eligible for asian Champions League .

2019 season [edit ]

Gyeongnam FC finished 11th place in K League 1 and was relegated to K League 2. Gyeongnam FC ‘s director Kim Jong-Boo resigned as a result. [ 2 ] Seol Ki-Hyun was appointed as the modern coach to lead the team in the 2020 season. [ 3 ]
