Todd Owen Cantwell ( natural 27 February 1998 ) is an english professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Norwich City .
Club career [edit ]
Cantwell was born in Dereham, Norfolk, and attended Northgate High School. [ 3 ] He joined the Norwich City Academy at under-10 level. [ 4 ] Cantwell was shortlisted for the Premier League Two musician of the season award for the 2016–17 season. [ 5 ] In October 2017, Cantwell was named as a utility for two Norwich City matches, but did not make an appearance. [ 5 ] Cantwell made his senior introduction in January 2018 in an FA Cup match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Cantwell represented the England under-17 team at the 2014 Nordic tournament, making his introduction against Iceland [ 4 ] and score in a draw against Finland. [ 13 ] On 30 August 2019, Cantwell was included in the England U21 team for the first time [ 14 ] and made his debut as an 61st moment ersatz for Morgan Gibbs-White during the 2021 U21 EURO 2–0 qualifying acquire over Kosovo at Hull City on 9 September 2019.
