In one of the wildest days in Euros history on Monday, Switzerland shocked the soccer global by eliminating World Cup supporter France on penalty kicks after a 3-3 draw. That consequence followed a 5-3 win by Spain over Croatia, a match which besides went to extra meter. Those two winners will meet in the quarters in Russia. Denmark blanked Wales 4-0 and it will face the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals after the Czechs upset the Netherlands 2-0.
Italy needed extra time to oust Austria 2-1 and the Azzurri will match up against the No. 1-ranked team in the world, Belgium, which took care of defending champions Portugal 1-0.
