The Azerbaijan Premier League ( Azerbaijani : Azərbaycan Premyer Liqası ) is a professional league for men ‘s association football clubs. At the top of the Azerbaijan football league system, it is the country ‘s primary football competition. It is contested by 8 clubs, and the league has no forwarding and relegation since 18-19 temper. qualification for european competitions [edit ]

The champions qualify for the UEFA Champions League, the irregular and third gear set teams qualifies for the UEFA Europa Conference League. As of the beginning of the 2020–21 Azerbaijan Premier League season qualification for european competitions is as follows : champions qualify for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, runner-up and third placed team qualifies for the first qualifying round of the Conference League. A fourth smudge is given to the winner of the Azerbaijan Cup, who qualify for the first qualifying round of the Conference League. Azerbaijan Premier League clubs have about complete freedom to sign whatever phone number and class of players they wish. There is no team or individual wage cap, no police squad size restrict, no age restrictions early than those applied by general employment police, no restrictions on the overall number of alien players, and few restrictions on individual extraneous players – all players with alien nationality, including those able to claim a passport through a parent or grandparent, are eligible to play, and top players from outside the EU are able to obtain Azerbaijani work permits. The lone restriction on selection is the “ Under-21 principle ”. This rule states that each golf club must include at least two players under the age of 21 in its matchday police squad. Players in the Premier League compete for the Azerbaijan Premier League Golden Boot, awarded to the top scorer at the end of each temper.
